SAM (Software Asset Management) position
Quincy Illinois (also REMOTE)
1. 6 months - 1 year contract to hire role
2. Must have experience with Symantec Management Suite (Altiris) or Flexera Software. Having one or the other will work. Client will train them in the other application.
3. Knowledge of MS SQL scripting
4. Client has volume licensing agreement with Microsoft, therefore, understanding of licensing would be a plus.
5. The first 3 to 4 weeks would be on site - remote work after.
This position will be responsible for managing all of the company's computer hardware and software assets. This will include: licensing, inventory, compliance, etc.
