PRINCE AGRI Products is a leading producer of minerals and feed ingredients for the global animal nutrition industry. We are seeking applicants for a full-time Laboratory Technician position in our Quincy, Illinois laboratory.
Responsibilities include: Perform analytical tests according to written procedures and work instructions. Complete special projects as assigned. Identify and implement process improvements in key responsibilities. Provide timely and accurate documentation of all analytical data. Focus on safety and quality at all times in accordance with written chemical hygiene plans and the Prince Document System
A successful candidate brings the following combination of education and
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Chemistry or related science field
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team-player
- 1-2 years' experience in an Analytical Lab environment
- Experience with ICP, AA, HPLC, GC, MS, XRD, XRF, UV-VIS, and modern microbiological techniques is preferred
- Problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 certification and accreditation process preferred
