Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Writer for Work Instructional Manuals to join our client in Quincy, IL.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Writing work instructions on how to build/assemble products
- Maintain existing assembly method sheets for products manufactured
- Verify and implement assembly process changes into appropriate work instructions
- Generate work instructions for newly developed products; and provide solutions to improve quality and reduce lead-time of assembly process.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Strong Computer Skills - Microsoft Office suite required; PeopleSoft, Agile, AutoCAD helpful;
- Four (4) years of experience with assembly skill/aptitude in electronic and mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Need to be good with digital camera to document the work process steps
- Microsoft Word - upload pictures and type in work details in the appropriate format
- Some assembly skills helpful
- Need good people skills, as they will be working with others to understand and document the process
