Fabrication/Assemblers needed for a contract opportunity for Yoh's client located in Quincy, IL.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fabricators or assemblers may vary from simple to complicated, necessitating a wide range of skills and knowledge.
- Assemblers assembling complex machines, start by reading detailed blueprints or schematics that instruct them on how to put together the machine. After discovering how the parts should connect, use power or hand tools to cut, shim, and make other modifications to fit pieces together and align correctly.
- Once the components are correctly aligned, then connect them with screws and bolts or by soldering or welding parts together
What You Need to Bring to the Table
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints/Schematics
- Experience with general Metal Fabrication; have experience with any manual and/or CNC machines- lathes and mills, shears, drills, presses, sanders, etc.
- Able to apply standard measuring tools such as calipers, depth gages, and micrometers.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
