Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Assembler to join our client in Quincy, IL.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building subassemblies as well as finished products using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical and electronic assembly
- Understanding how to build and monitor activities that ensure the process control (Quality Control).
- Ability to build subassemblies using variety of hand tools/power tools.
- Use hand tools - screwdrivers, open-end wrenches, socket sets, and soldering guns.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experienced working in a manufacturing, body shop, or mechanical assembly environment.
- Mechanically inclined
Bonus Points! Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to understand and read schematics/blueprints/and assembly drawings (Plus)
- Experienced working in an ISO and Lean Manufacturing Environment (Kaizen, 5-S Program, and Six Sigma is a plus)
