The Salvation Army Family Store in Quincy is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Workers at our thriving thrift store.

Responsibilities:
As a Store Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Quincy Family Store.
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing exceptional service, and creating a positive shopping experience.
Sorting, organizing, and pricing donated items to maintain a clean and well-presented sales floor.
Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to optimize sales potential.
Operating the cash register and accurately handling transactions.
Supporting loss prevention efforts and ensuring the security of merchandise.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Our services include emergency housing, case management, food assistance through our fully stocked food pantry and daily breadline, emergency disaster services and weekly church ministries.
These services are supported through generous donations and revenue from the Hannibal and Quincy Family Stores.
