Triage Medical Assistant Patient Coordination:
Communicate directly and indirectly with healthcare providers to effectively coordinate patient care.
Assist physicians and nursing staff in preparing patients for examination and treatment.
Patient Education and Communication:
Provide patients and their families with physician-provided instructions and educate them according to specific MA training and protocols.
Communicate laboratory and other test results to families.
Assist providers in communicating with patients about their care and treatment plans.
Medication and Treatment Assistance:
Assist with medication refills following specific protocols.
Administer injections, conduct lab testing, and perform phlebotomy as required.
Communicate adjustments or changes in treatment plans to families as directed by physicians.
Clinical and Administrative Support:
Take patient histories and vital signs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of patient health.
Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized with necessary instruments and supplies.
Manage appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, and chart management for efficient patient care.
General
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nursing staff with a variety of patient care, clerical, EMR, environmental, and organizational tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth functioning of the healthcare team.

Graduate from a Medical Assisting training program, required.
CPR Certification.
Phlebotomy training, previous Lab experience One year of experience in a physician office setting.
