Sheridan Swim Team Sheridan Swim Team Quincy, IL Quincy, IL Part-time Part-time $12 - $15 an hour $12 - $15 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago The Sheridan Swim Team has a job opening for an Assistant Swim Team Coach to assist in providing leadership, swim instruction and motivation to all swim team participants and to assist in the general functions of the program under the direction of the Sheridan Swim Team Head Coach.
The Sheridan Swim Team is seeking someone who can coach our more advanced 12 and unders, Monday through Friday in the evenings from 6pm to 7:
30pm.
There will also be some travel to swim meets on the weekends, as well as more opportunity in hours as they become available.
Responsibilities Provide, develops and improves the technical and physical skills of swimming for all participants Provide swimmers with constructive feedback that will assist in improving their skills and experience within the program Establish and maintains an environment that is safe, positive, fun and promotes learning and personal development of each swimmer Qualifications Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions Applicant must be at least 18 years old and have prior experience in competitive swimming Must be able to swim, demonstrate and instruct participants in proper stroke techniques Certifications in or willingness to obtain certification in CPR, AED and Basic First Aid in the first 30 days Swim season is year round, with practices being Monday - Friday evenings Complete USA Swimming coaching requirements in the first 30 days Job Type:
