PRIMARY JOB DUTIES Reviews outstanding order list to release orders, ties documents to orders and encounters and if needed, places orders for results or encounters.
Index documents and images into the appropriate patient record, placing it into the correct category and subcategory within that record.
Audits documents indexed for accuracy and makes corrections as needed.
Input data accurately and in a timely fashion.
Confirms that complete reports have been provided and returns incomplete reports to the responsible provider.
Identifies documents needing transfer to provider's in-basket and completes transfer.
Maintain or exceed established QMG quality and productivity standards and guidelines.
Performs quality assurance to ensure all documents belong to the same patient, verifies that images are correct and legible before importing to the patient chart.
Sorts, selects and preps documents appropriate for scanning.
Process faxes using faxing software following guidelines to determine how to process the fax by destroying, indexing or printing the fax.
Places orders for lab, imaging, procedures and encounters as needed.
Index documents & images from the G:
drive by the specified document types and descriptions to ensure completed the same way every time as needed for the specialty.
Ensures documents are dispersed to Providers in a timely manner.
Completes discrete data entry for results.
Other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
