Responsibilities and Duties Marshalling, organizing and analyzing asset information Valuation of assets Preparation of inventories Prepare asset transfer documents such as deeds and assignments.
Drafting probate pleadings, including fiduciary reports/accountings Assisting with Estate and Gift Tax return and Fiduciary return preparation.
Essential Capabilities:
Excellent writing and research skills Attention to detail, organization and ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills.
The team member will communicate with clients, family members, trustees, tax auditors, and other attorneys, and professionals.
Candidate will maintain client files and prepare materials for client meetings and assist with other documents or paperwork.
Must be self-motivated and must be able to manage their time well, work proactively, and be aware of any issues that need to be brought to the attorney's attention.
Should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook.
Education:
Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program is preferable, but not required.
Experience:
A BA/BS with 1-4 years of related experience is preferable, but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
